The OpenServer Development System
provides a complete "native" development environment. It is best used for
mainte-nance and continuing development, and is required for doing kernel and
device driver work on OpenServer. It does not provide as modern a C or C++ as is
available with the UnixWare and OpenServer Development Kit (UODK), but it is
robust and very stable, providing good quality code generation, as well as a
complete set of development, build and debugging tools for native OpenServer
applications.
